Favorite Leggings

I jumped on the legging bandwagon a few years ago. I felt I was too big for such tight fitting clothing. Wrong. Leggings are so comfortable and slimming. It is like wearing yoga pants to work. I recently bought a pair of red leggings. Red is on the more "wild" spectrum of colors for me. Since purchasing LuLaRoe leggings from a family member I have bought two more! And an Irma. I love that the company has clothing for all shapes and sizes. Prices are a bit high but one pair of comfy leggings is way better than two that fit just okay. Plus I would rather buy clothing that helps generate supplemental income from family. You will have to find a consultant in your area or maybe even become one!

I am a soap maker who uses essential oils. Ive been looking for new items to make and sell at craft shows. When browsing Pinterest one day I found DIY diffuser necklaces. I knew that my customer base prefers all natural items. I found it hard to find clay that was truly all natural. Thankfully another blogger found DAS Air Hardening Clay. After I  received shipment I tested my first batch of pendants. I soon realized they must not be too thin. Several failed to stand up to minor pressure after drying was complete. Here is my fist attempt. I wore it with lavender during the work day. My coworker could smell me and it was strong enough without being overpowering. Very nice to enjoy a calming scent all day. The remaining clay has stayed soft for over a month stored in an air tight plastic bag. I will be making more clay pendants tonight.

Choices Day 2

Today I am giving up donuts and little debbie type snacks. Sadly this is another bad daily habit. Im sure I will see noticeable results dropping these items from daily consumption. Working next to a grocery store is a big part of why this is an ongoing battle. I have managed to avoid delicious donuts in the office break room. Small victories. I am switching to fiber one bars. Overtime I would like to go to something different but going from a 300+ calorie snack down to 140-150 calorie snack is an improvement. Stopping: Day 1: Drinks with sugar. (Current exception is creamer). Day 2: Donuts & little debbie type snacks.

Baby Eczema

My sweet gal broke into a large rash at 5 months old. We took her into the pediatrician to discover she had very dry skin. All the extra baths during the hot humid summer dried her out. We started trying eczema creams. I bought Aveeno and Eucerin brand. Aveeno brand baby eczema cream felt like a slightly thicker lotion and did little to conquer the extremly dry skin. My daughter is sensitive like me so I had been rooting for Aveeno. Then I tried the Eucerin brand baby eczema cream and was very pleased. Thick and not as greasy as I feared. Her skin began to heal with twice per day applications.
